Which refrigerant is right for my plant — ammonia or Freon?
Ammonia (NH₃) is the efficient natural choice for large-scale industrial cooling, ice generation and cold storage. Freon (HFC) suits compact commercial and mid-scale systems. Our engineers recommend the right platform based on your capacity, temperature and site conditions.
What's the difference between your Ammonia and Freon ranges?
The Ammonia range covers evaporative condensers, plate ice machines, falling-film chillers, air cooling units and pressure vessels for large industrial duty. The Freon range covers air cooler units, condensing units, blast freezers, modular cold rooms and shell & tube for commercial and mid-scale work.
Is ammonia safe to use in a food facility?
Yes — ammonia is widely used in food and cold-chain plants worldwide. Systems are engineered with proper containment, ventilation, detection and safety devices, and commissioned to recognised safety standards.
Capacity & Specification
What capacity range can you design for?
From compact commercial units to multi-megawatt plant rooms. A single plate-ice line delivers up to 75,000 kg of ice per day, and our condensers scale to 700 TR in a single unit.
What temperature ranges do your systems achieve?
From +12 °C ripening rooms and +2 to +8 °C chillers down to −18 to −25 °C frozen storage, with blast freezing below −30 °C and specialised duties to −40 °C.
Can systems be custom-sized to my site?
Yes. Because manufacturing is in-house, units are engineered to your capacity, footprint and site conditions — including custom coil, fan and vessel configurations.
