Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy explains the standard warranty terms offered by Prime Coil & Condensers Pvt. Ltd. (“Prime Coil”, “we”, “us” or “our”) on equipment manufactured and supplied by us, including ammonia and Freon systems, evaporative condensers, plate ice machines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and related refrigeration equipment. Specific warranty terms for your project are always confirmed in writing in your sales contract or purchase order, and those written terms take precedence over this page.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to equipment sold directly by Prime Coil & Condensers Pvt. Ltd. It is intended as a general reference for customers and does not replace the warranty clause recorded in your formal quotation, purchase order or sales contract. Where any conflict exists between this page and your written contract, the written contract shall prevail.

2. Standard Warranty Coverage

Subject to the conditions in this policy, we warrant that our equipment will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use, installation and operating conditions, from the date of commissioning or dispatch as agreed in your purchase order.

2.1 Our standard warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in coils, condensers, evaporators, pressure vessels and heat exchangers fabricated in-house.
  • Faulty workmanship in welding, fabrication, assembly and finishing.
  • Premature failure of components under normal operating parameters specified at the time of sale.

3. Warranty Period

Warranty duration varies by product type, application and scope of supply, and is specified in your quotation or purchase order. As a general guide:

  • Fabricated equipment (condensers, coils, vessels, heat exchangers): standard warranty period as stated in your purchase order, typically measured from date of commissioning or dispatch, whichever is applicable per your contract.
  • Bought-out components (motors, compressors, controls, electricals): covered as per the original manufacturer’s warranty, passed through to you.

Exact durations for your equipment will always be confirmed in writing before dispatch.

4. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

  • Improper installation, commissioning or handling not carried out by, or not approved by, Prime Coil or our authorised representatives.
  • Operation outside the design parameters, capacity ratings or refrigerant specifications agreed at the time of sale.
  • Normal wear and tear, corrosion from ambient or process conditions not disclosed to us at the time of order, or lack of routine maintenance.
  • Unauthorised repair, modification or use of non-approved spare parts.
  • Damage caused by accidents, fire, flood, power fluctuation, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Failure of civil, electrical or plumbing work carried out by third parties at the installation site.
  • Consequential losses such as production downtime, spoilage of stored goods, or loss of business.

5. Conditions for Warranty to Apply

For a warranty claim to be valid:

  • The equipment must have been installed, commissioned and operated in accordance with our technical documentation and guidelines.
  • Routine maintenance schedules recommended by Prime Coil must have been followed and, where requested, records made available.
  • Any modification, repair or component replacement must have been carried out by Prime Coil or a technician we have authorised in writing.
  • The claim must be raised within the applicable warranty period, with supporting details as outlined below.

6. How to Raise a Warranty Claim

To raise a warranty claim, please contact us with the following details:

  • Your name, company name and site location.
  • Purchase order number or invoice reference.
  • Equipment model/serial number and date of commissioning.
  • A description of the issue, along with photographs or videos where possible.

Our team will review the claim and, where necessary, arrange a site visit or request further diagnostic information to assess whether the issue is covered under warranty.

7. Repair, Replacement or Refund

Where a claim is found valid, Prime Coil will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the defective component or equipment, or
  • Replace the defective component or equipment, or
  • Issue a credit note towards the affected part, in line with the terms of your purchase order.

Refunds in cash are not offered under this warranty; resolution is limited to repair, replacement or credit as outlined above. Any freight, labour or site-access costs relating to a claim will be handled as agreed in your purchase order.

8. Spare Parts and Consumables

Spare parts, gaskets, filters, refrigerant, oil and other consumables required for routine maintenance are not covered under this warranty and are available for purchase separately. Genuine spares fitted by Prime Coil or an authorised technician help preserve your equipment warranty; use of non-genuine parts may void coverage for the affected component.

9. Third-Party Components

Bought-out items such as compressors, motors, control panels and electrical components carry the warranty offered by their original manufacturer. Claims relating to such components are coordinated by Prime Coil on your behalf, subject to the original manufacturer’s terms and turnaround time.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Warranty Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products or processes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Warranty terms for equipment already supplied are governed by the terms recorded in the applicable purchase order at the time of sale, not by later revisions of this page.
