Heat Pump
Efficient Heating. Reliable Cooling. Significant Energy Savings.
Efficient Heating. Reliable Cooling. Significant Energy Savings.
Prime Heat Pumps are high-efficiency systems that transfer heat using an advanced refrigeration cycle to provide both heating and cooling. Designed to reduce energy consumption, they can achieve up to 70% savings on water heating while delivering reliable year-round performance.
Suitable for applications requiring efficient heating and cooling, Prime Heat Pumps offer an environmentally responsible and cost-effective alternative to conventional heating systems.
Understanding heat pump types
Heat pumps come in several configurations, each suited to specific
applications:
Air source heat pumps extract heat from ambient air — most common
configuration, easiest to install, and suitable for water heating
and space heating applications across most climate zones.
Water source heat pumps extract heat from a water source (well,
cooling tower loop, or process water). Higher efficiency than air
source in stable-temperature water applications.
Ground source heat pumps use buried ground loops as the heat source —
highest efficiency but requires significant site preparation.
Our industrial heat pumps are available in air source and water
source configurations for commercial hot water production, industrial
process heating, and combined heating/cooling applications.
How industrial heat pumps deliver 70% energy savings
Traditional water heating uses direct electric heating or fuel burning —
1 kW of energy input produces 1 kW of heat output (100% efficiency).
Heat pumps use a refrigeration cycle to transfer heat from ambient
air or water into the water being heated — 1 kW of energy input
delivers 3-5 kW of heat output (300-500% efficiency, known as
COP or Coefficient of Performance).
On a typical hotel or food processing facility using 5,000 litres
of hot water daily, switching from electric water heating to industrial
heat pump reduces annual electricity consumption by approximately
70%, translating to lakhs of rupees in annual savings.
